Founder of Flying C Talent

Veteran music industry professional Jimmy Collins has spent over three decades shaping country music through his work in promotion, distribution, publishing, and songwriting. From his early days at Norman Petty Studios—where legends like Buddy Holly and Waylon Jennings once recorded—to securing a major label deal with BMG Entertainment, Collins has left an undeniable mark on the industry. His hit single *Rodeo Rock* and the Billboard Top 40 track *Cowboy Rap* showcased his own artistry, while his co-writing on Billy Ray Cyrus’ *Three Little Words* earned a CMT Video of the Year award. Additionally, his expertise as an independent radio promoter contributed to the success of iconic songs by Ronnie Milsap, Willie Nelson, and Jerry Reed. Beyond his industry accolades, Collins played a key role in managing Loretta Lynn’s publishing interests as general manager of Coal Miner’s Daughter Music Group, overseeing hits recorded by Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, and Holly Dunn. Now, as co-founder of Flying C Records, he brings his wealth of experience to developing new talent, beginning with rising artist Brooke Graham. With his deep industry connections and a passion for fostering authentic country music, Collins is set to make Flying C Records a powerhouse for carefully curated, standout artists.
